Unit 3 Assessment.

This five minute video was made as part of my Unit 3 assessment for MA Fine Art Digital at Central Saint Martins. Filmed on location in Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands, it takes the viewer through landscapes that have been central to my practice across the past two years, places that have fed directly into my ink paintings and sketches. The voiceover reflects on the journey of the MA: from arriving with a fragmented sense of self and a practice I couldn't yet account for, to developing a critical language grounded in the work of writers like Nan Shepherd and Amanda Thomson, and in my own experience of chronic illness, neurodivergence, and alexithymia. It is an attempt to bring together the threads of two years of research and making, and to point towards where the practice goes next.
