This piece is based on a photograph I took during a spontaneous hike along the Cami de Cavalls – a coastal path that circles the island of Menorca. My mum and I set off without planning, wearing only sandals and beach clothes, and ended up walking for miles past wild landscapes, limestone trails and sea views. It’s a memory I hold close: unplanned, lighthearted, and full of connection. The painting captures a small hut we passed, seemingly emerging from the rock itself.
